Designed for photographers and filmmakers of all skill levels, the morning session includes motion picture storytelling techniques to develop a focused narrative approach during pre-production; HDSLR cinematography intensives, which include ideal camera settings, camera & operator placment, and motivated lens choice; plus the essential HDSLR video gear & equipment, with proven production workflows for weddings and live events to help you capture captivating moving images with an HDSLR.
Afternoon Session (2:00pm-6:00pm): Tuesday, February 21, 2012
The afternoon session is also designed for photographers and filmmakers of all skill levels. Attendees will learn what it takes to create stunning love story films and concept films. This session also includes motion picture directing techniques to illicit great performances from non-actors; essential audio gear, recording techniques, sound design and music theories to take your films to the next level; post-production workflows and advanced color grading to deliver a stunning final product using HDSLR video.

What to bring: Gear is not mandatory. However, we suggest bringing a Canon HDSLR, a light-weight monopod or stabilizer, and any other piece of gear you have a question about.
This workshop is open to WPPI attendees and non-attendees alike. Event Cinema Workshops is not affiliated with WPPI. Registration strictly covers admission to the Event Cinema Workshop only. Admission does not cover admission to any WPPI activities, sessions or tradeshow. Food, travel, and/or hotel accommodations are not included.
Admission is limited to three (3) individuals per studio. Please note that if you're signing up for more than one person, the sign-up process will have to be repeated for each attendee. Tickets are sold one at a time and priced per person.
